An Ear, Nose and Throat doctor has completed undergraduate college courses, followed by four years of medical school (MD or DO), and then completed a five-year residency training program for clinical and surgical training to care for patients with ear, nose and throat problems.
Board Certification indicates that the physician has passed both written and oral exams administered by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
